Gavin and Sweet potatoes

I just started to feed Gavin some solid foods. We started off with oatmeal cereal and then I decided to try sweet potatoes. Well, the day he had his first bit of sweet potatoes he broke out in a rash. After he had the rash for a few days I took him to the pediatricians to see what was going on. She said it is hard to say for sure, but she thinks it was a reaction to the sweet potatoes. This does not mean he has an allergy to sweet potatoes, just a sensitivity right now. We will try them again in a few months.
